The kids had their 12 month check up this morning. All are healthy and Gage's ear infection has cleared up. We go the go ahead to switch them from formula to milk (woooo) and get rid of the bottles for sippy cups so we are going to see how that goes. We have been working with them with sippy cups for a couple months now but they seem to want to throw them and not drink much out of them so hopefully they will learn fast once we take the bottles away.
Here are the stats from their appointment:
Gage: 23.10 lbs, 30 inches. He is 75% for weight and 50% for Height
Brea: 20.8 lbs, 29 inches. She is 50% for weight and 50% for height
Brody: 20.12 lbs, 28 1/2 inches. He is 25% for weight and 25% for height.

Let them eat cake!
Family pics (at least our attempt)
Brea, Gage and Brody are 1!
We made it through the first year. I can't believe the kids are 1 now! What a blur this year has been but here we are already. We have all been fighting colds since x-mas time and Gage went to the Dr. last week and even had a left ear infection so we are hoping to all get healthy in this new year.
The kids are all taking a step or two on their own now. Brea is walking quite a bit and doing really well with it. She also has learned to shake her head no although not knowing what it means and can clap her hands. The boys are too busy with their toys to really pay attention to us trying to teach them those things yet.
We go to the pediatrician thurs for their 12 month check up so we can see how they are progresssing.
We had their birthday party this past sat and they kids had lots of fun. Those who came were: Grandpa and Grandma Hug, Grandma and Grandpa Recker, Aunt Cheryl, Cousin Tyler, Aunt Marsha and Uncle Greg and Tyson. We had the Baby Einstein theme for their party and a catepillar smash cake with each cake a different color with their names on it. Brody wasn't too sure about the cake at first until I gave him a taste of it then he started to enjoy it. Brea wasn't shy and dug right in and at one point even tried to put her face down into it. Gage tasted a little of it but was more interested in what was going on around him. They did pretty good opening a few of their presents but then decided it was too much work and wanted to play with what was already opened. They did love the balloons though especially Brody. It was such a great day and we want to thank our family for helping the kids celebrate!

Here is the video of Brea, Brody and Gage in their first year. It's hard to believe they will be 1 years old in just a week.
