memorial weekend pics

Fussy, fussy, fussy!

We have had our hands full since this past sunday dealing with fussy kids. We finally took them to the Dr. yesterday. He could find nothing physically wrong with them but said it could be from one of the foods we introduced them to or otherwise possibly reflux since they were spitting up also. We have decided to just go back to cereal for a few days and see how they do with that. So far this morning they have taken little naps and have seemed ok but I don't want to jinx myself. Brea has had to be held 3 out of the last 4 nights in order for her to sleep. I am hoping she isn't getting too use to that :)
The kids and Kinsey and myself ended up going to Edgerton to Grandma and Grandpa Hug's last wed. for the weekend as Jeff was replacing our floors and we needed to be out of the way. It was a busy trip with lots of visitors and even a shopping trip. They did pretty well on the way to Edgerton except the last hr was too much to take. The way back to Columbus however seemed to be a very long 3 hrs. Thanks to Grandma Hug for riding back sunday and helping to put pacifiers in! The floors looked great thanks to Jeff, Neal , Tyson and Palte for all their hard work! I will have to get some pictures of the floor posted later!

Hanging out in the big chairs

Feeding time!

Brody trying to decide if he likes it or not. We think he likes the face to face attention more than anything.

Brea is all happy at meal time laughing and smiling while eating. She is becoming good eating from the spoon.

Gage is not so sure about the cereal but really seemed to like the peaches. He also tries to talk and smile while eating.

All three sitting at the table for dinner!

Well we have started feeding the babies some cereal and have tried some peaches too. They are doing pretty good but of course feeding three 4 month olds that aren't sure how to eat off a spoon takes awhile but is pretty entertaining. Lots of time they seem to just want to talk or laugh rather than eating but they are slowly getting the hang of it. I just wanted to post a few pics of their messy faces!

Buckeye family

4 months!

We just got back from the pediatrician for the babies 4 month check up and shots. They did very good at the appt and are now tired and sleeping from the busy morning. The Dr. thought they are growing well and all are healthy. They are all being measured on the normal growth chart and not the preemie one.
Brody weighed 13.15 lbs and is in the 25th percentile
Brea weighed 14.12 lbs and is in the 75th percentile
Gage weighed a whopping 17 lbs and is in the 90th percentile.
They are all still a little below the curve for height but Gage is on the chart at 23 inches, Brody is 22 and 1/2 and Brea is 22 inches. The Dr. said the height usually catches up later than the weight.
We are going to try and start them on some cereal and baby foods since we got the go ahead from the Dr. I'm sure that feeding time is going to take a bit longer until they get the hang of it.
They kids are starting to really grab things and interact alot more. Brody rolled over once from his belly to his back last thurs. ( apr. 30th), he still doesn't like to sleep like the other two and is constantly moving. Gage loves to babble and smile I think he is about to roll over from his back he is all the way on his shoulder and side at times. Brea is still very happy and likes to laugh all of the time. I am happy to say they are all starting to sleep much better at night which makes mom and dad very happy!
